Guest lecture from Dr. Saakshi Joshi at Utrecht University

Saakshi Joshi, our postdoctoral researcher working in Delhi, gave a lecture as part of the Diverse Cities & Urban Inequality module at the Department of Human Geography & Planning, Utrecht University. Through examples from the on-going research in Delhi, she discussed inclusive urban public transport in India, existing transport scenario, challenges, and the need to approach transport infrastructure through a lens of gender for inclusive mobility. She further discussed mobility constraints through the intersection of gender and disability and the need for intersectional user experiences for inclusive mobility solutions.
